1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Refrrd platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. The Service is operated by Refrrd for the purpose of managing insurance referrals between partner businesses and insurance agencies.

2. Description of Service

Refrrd is a referral management platform that enables insurance agencies to receive and track customer referrals from partner businesses such as auto dealerships, realtors, jewelers, and other industries. The platform includes referral submission, lead tracking, leaderboards, prize campaigns, analytics, and notification features.

3. User Accounts

Users may access the platform in the following roles:

  • Super Admin: Platform owner with full access to manage agencies and platform settings.
  • Agency Admin: Manages their agency's partners, agents, categories, and settings.
  • Agent: Views and manages referral leads within their assigned agency.
  • Salesperson: Submits customer referrals and participates in leaderboards and prize campaigns.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. SMS Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number during account registration, accepting a platform invitation, or adding a phone number to your Refrrd profile, you expressly consent to receive automated transactional text messages (SMS/MMS) from Refrrd related to the Service. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

  • Program Name: Refrrd Referral Notifications
  • Types of Messages: Referral status updates (new referral received, approved, paid out), platform invitation links, referral submission confirmations, and account-related alerts.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on referral activity. You may receive multiple messages per day during periods of high referral volume.
  • Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Refrrd is not responsible for any charges incurred from your carrier.
  • Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from Refrrd. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. You may also opt out by removing your phone number from your profile settings.
  • Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact your agency administrator, or email support through the Contact page on our website.
  • Supported Carriers: Messages are supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided and that you are authorized to agree to receive text messages at this number. We will not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Referral Data

Salespeople who submit referrals through the platform represent that they have obtained appropriate consent from customers to share their contact information (name, phone number, email, driver's license number) with the designated insurance agency for the purpose of obtaining insurance quotes. The submitting salesperson is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information provided.

6. Prize Campaigns

Agencies may run prize campaigns to incentivize referral submissions. Prize eligibility, selection, and distribution are managed by the respective agency. Refrrd facilitates the voting and tracking process but is not responsible for prize fulfillment. Ineligible referrals (as determined by the agency) do not count toward leaderboard standings or prize eligibility.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading referral information
  • Use the platform to send unsolicited communications or spam
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

8. Intellectual Property

The Refrrd platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Refrrd and protected by intellectual property laws. Your use of the platform does not grant you ownership of any content, code, data, or materials you may access through the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

Refrrd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by your agency for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for violation of these terms. Agency administrators may remove users from their agency at their discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting updated terms on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
